During the first visit to a doctor’s office, some patients experience apprehension because they do not know what to expect. This is what you can expect on your first visit to Health Enhancement. Our TEAM Promise At Health Enhancement, your health and welfare are a main concern. Our team is your personal host and will guide you each step of the way, not only on your first visit, but every visit. Paperwork When you complete the New Patient Intake Form, we’ll then have an excellent understanding of your past and current health situation. The information you provide is also crucial for determining your best course of care. If you would like, please take the opportunity to print off and fill out the initial paperwork and bring it with you on your first visit. If you have questions, please feel free to ask for help from any of the staff. Consultation Once you have completed your paperwork, you will meet with a member of our team to discuss, in depth, your health concerns. This allows us to find out if you’re a good candidate for chiropractic care! Examination Following the consultation, a thorough physical and neurological examination will take place. Dr. Boen will also perform a spinal palpation examination. The purpose of this examination is to locate the cause of your problem so we can develop a treatment plan to best help you. X-Rays When required, x-rays will be taken to get a closer look at the potential cause of your problem. We do have a complete x-ray facility in our office. You are encouraged to ask questions from the doctor or any of the Health Enhancement staff at any time.
